Guide
Your first appointment
How to prepare so the first meeting is genuinely useful.
What to bring
- Contracts, correspondence, formal notices and any court papers
- Bank statements or payment receipts relevant to the matter
- Emails, chat messages and screenshots, in chronological order
- A short written timeline of the events
- Identity document and tax code (codice fiscale)
What happens during the meeting
We listen to the facts, read the documents and identify the legal questions involved. You will leave with a clear view of the available routes, the likely timescale and the cost of each.
If deadlines are close, we say so immediately: in some matters — unauthorised payments, appeals, tenancy proceedings — a few days make the difference.
What happens afterwards
If you decide to instruct the firm, you receive a written estimate and a mandate to sign. Work begins only once both are in place.
